Guest Lecture by Gonzalo Vargas

This is a post from The Human Security Angle: the newsletter of the Master’s Programme in Human Security at Aarhus University.

Gonzalo Vargas was a concentration camp prisoner during the dictatorship of Augusto Pinochet in Chile. On 16 April 2018, Gonzalo visited the Human Security programme to tell his story. He told about unimaginable torture, and how he later met and forgave his torturer. It was a very thought-provoking story, and we want to thank Gonzalo for sharing. You can read Gonzalo’s story here (in Danish).
