We’re over the moon to share the fantastic news that Frederik has won the Djøf Master’s Thesis Award. This is an incredible recognition of his dedication and scholarly excellence.

Frederik, your hard work and commitment have truly paid off. We’re very proud to have had you as a part of our program, and we can’t wait to see the positive changes you’ll continue to bring to the field. Your determination to think big and tackle complex and timely relevant questions is truly commendable, and we are sure that this award is just the beginning of your journey.

The following statement has been issued by the assessment committee:
“The thesis examines the democratic understanding of Serbian students with the controversial conclusion that higher education does not necessarily lead to a more democratic mindset. The research question is bold given its geopolitical relevance and current significance locally and for the EU. The academic standard and data collection are impressive.”
